It's been a hot minute, hasn't it?
This is the sequel to my Brainrot Island YouTube series, and it's also a followup to Purgatory Island.
If you're new here, Tomodachi Life is a tiny person simulator game in the same vein as The Sims but with a much weirder tone. Characters also speak directly to you as if you were their god, and you can pick them up and move them around.
The intended purpose of Tomodachi Life, at least as it presents itself in marketing, is for you to make your friends and coworkers so that the game can act out some low-stakes (and admittedly pretty funny) RPF in front of your eyes. Every single person I have ever met uses it for fictional characters.
Brainrot Island is an attempt to concentrate Tomodachi Life down to its essence. How diseased with special interests can we make this save file?

I'm not as invested in Dandy's World as I was when I did the first Brainrot. In all honesty I haven't played the game since the chat verification update and I wish the game could move off the Roblox platform. But he's iconic to me, and I couldn't stop thinking about seeing him on the big ol' screen.
I've grown attached to the 3DS-era Dandy and he feels like his own character to me at this point. I had the option here to give him facepaint, and I didn't.

These personalities seem right for the both of them.
This time around Astro gets to be a guy! In Brainrot 3DS I was just arbitrarily setting genders based on what I thought would make for potentially funny matchups, but Nintendo has finally listened to our prayers and given us homosexuality.

I have to assume that the first friendship is hard-coded to be a success, but can you imagine if we had gotten a fight on day 1?
Sitting down to write this, it hits me that I really should have started the island with some of the Purgatory Island favorites like King St. Bee. Dandy's gone and upstaged everybody!
