Greg got a Steam Age LootBag!

It contained 5 Technician coins, a file he already had, and 32 rough brownstone. This seemed like a bust, but it turns out the brownstone is a great material for making speedy pathways, so he's used it as pavement to get from his house to his apple orchard.

He has a small house (still roofless), a mining outpost, a modest farm on the river, sheep and cows, an apple orchard and a tree farm. He plans to work on a tannery next.

After 2 days, you're probably wondering if I like GregTech or if I would recommend it. My honest answer is that I still have no idea. I have 12 hours of consecutive play on this game. I'm having fun, but I've mostly been having fun doing the kind of things I do in vanilla Minecraft, just slower. I do appreciate not already having full armor or a zombie farm or anything like that... I have to assume it pops off once I can start making machines. It's hard not to envy the loading screen images of people's mega bases!

I do like that it feels more like I'm actively doing things in the game space. Bread is a chore!

I made more adoptables. I had to stop Gregging for a bit because I was trying to watch Scorpy's latest Shrek video and my computer started getting really sick. I think I have gotten my fill of GregTech for tonight.

The Kittens are roughly at par with Greg's progress right now. They have farms and iron, they are learning how to make wooden beams and stone slabs. But Greg has 1 Horse and the Kittens have 797.71 Unicorns.

There's a big storm going on outside. That usually knocks out my power, so I don't have high hopes for our NUMBER progress.

If you're wondering why NUMBER has been so slow, I need to actively have its tab open for it to run, and I keep forgetting to do that. Actually, I'll put it in its own window now. Yes, I should have done that in the first place. I do not claim to be smart.

Greg had an unfortunately eventful day! Or, night!

This was Greg's first Blood Moon. First, he found himself unable to sleep. Then dozens of unsolicited visitors started showing up at his door.

He tried to go outside to politely ask them to go away and that he wasn't interested in any pamphlets, but opening the door inadvertently unleashed the horde upon him. They beat him up, untied his horse from the fence, and even set his house on fire!

There was even some creepy guy in a robe!! Greg can only hope it wasn't some guy hoping to sell him expensive wrist watches!

He made it out OK, and he's back to working on his house now, but he doesn't feel so good.

I've been having a weird enough time today but Greg is in the steam age and has done nothing so far because he's been too busy trying to find redstone and has managed to find possibly every other mineral in his world.

just so u know i dreamed that I gregged last night and i was pretty much playing normal minecraft until i got a blood moon & 180467280672460826 million scary nextbot entitys immediately rushed into my house to kills me forever and i gave up because i'd have to completely restart the game to fix whatever i did to my house to make it not immune to nextbots (yknow, those gmod pngs that slide at you really fast)

Two days ago, Greg opened a LootBag and got 8 String and 3 Walnut Raisin Bread. Then he opened another one and got 4 Cashew Butter. Then he opened a THIRD one and got 5 Veggie Strips and 3 Fairy Bread! It was an exciting day to be Greg. But then only the very next day he got depressed.

I spent this morning cleaning out my tabs and I'm gonna add that to the stats. I think to save myself from total Greg insanity (which would be unfun to read), I'm going to start just adding random stats each day and you can vote on what you want next.

I would take a screenshot of Greg's base but I had to close out of Greg for the evening because it was making my computer so very sick.

Greg is at a bit of a standstill because he needs steel so he needs iron so he needs to mine more which means he needs more iron. I see why this is a modpack that's mainly played on servers because it's kind of unreal how much easier this would be with even 1 other person. But I could not subject another person to Greg.
