This is a pet project I've been working on since I was a bitty billy. Yes, I'm one of those delusional people that thought I could make an MMO. Difference is I have no intentions of making this "massive". I'll be happy if it gets 5 concurrent players. If I ever try to make money off of this, it might be time to take meemaw out back.

I have rudimentary networking now: two clients can connect to the same server and walk around. Next I'm rebuilding the map editor for the thousandth time.

Welcome to Briffit's S'mores Extravaganza Review Board! Long ago, I made a promise to myself that I wanted to try every s'mores flavored food and drink I could get my hands on. Thus I set out on my noble mission, but alas, I never thought to document it. That all changes today!

Here, I'll be ranking each food or drink I sample by a couple metrics, because everyone likes numbers. These are:

• Number of distinct textures
• Similarity to a s'more (out of 10)
• Taste (out of 10)
• Any bonus metrics I may come up with

Love: abstract interpretations, scenes, interactions between characters, using different art mediums, eyestrain/body horror/abstract stuff is great and a fave
Gore is fine but probably fits certain chars better than others!

Yes:  Varying art styles (love interesting styles), including other characters , memes, different clothing, different interpretations of characters 
(humanizing them, anthrofying them, drawing them feral as their species are all ok), simplifying markings
Go wild!!! I love love love seeing the diversity of styles ppl have.

Green Needle is an upcoming collaborative retro art site concept by Eggware Social. It's currently in alpha and not very user-friendly, so for the time being, I'm hosting this on the forums.

Art Fight is a forum game where you pick a team and earn points for it by drawing other people's characters.

How to play?

Pick a team (Green or Needle). Make a thread in this subforum. Thread title should be prefixed [AF] and contain your team name somewhere in it. List your characters that you're willing to receive art of -- these can be Toyhouse links, your existing Art Fight account, etc.

When making an "attack", post it as a reply to the person's thread.

I would rather not see creepy interactions leading to massive DNIs, so let's try to keep things civil around here. If you aren't friends with someone and don't know their boundaries, draw something simple. If an image you received breaks your boundaries, please be willing to handle this simply, or PM them to talk off-site if you need to have a row with this person. Don't put rules that are already stated here in your boundaries because it encourages people to not read the rules.

Participants must be 18+. Don't make this a moderation nightmare for me. Pin-ups and sexy art is fine, kinky art between friends must be disclosed and warned for, don't draw kinky art for strangers, and no sex please. And don't give us a reputation for being a fetish mining event.

Scoring

This is a game for fun. I want this to be fun and a game, not farming Toyhouse art value. So let's keep it simple! An unfinished image is 5 points and a finished image is 10 points. Friendly fire (attacking someone on your team) is halved. My moderators and I will judge this ourselves when tallying at the end of the month. We will not be publishing what we judged as unfinished and why.

I'm willing to accept alternative art forms, including writing and collage. But all art submitted must be handmade. Reference paintovers are fine as long as they are substantial.

I'm probably forgetting something so feel free to ask questions and I'll add them to this post.

Since this Let's Play is also a highly-embellished work of fiction, this first post is entirely "non-canon" and the character who will be narrating the diaries has no idea this exists. They also won't be replying to any replies made, but replies are enjoyed and I might respond OOC to them.

Diary entries will be posted daily while I have a backlog, and "when they're done" once I get caught up! I hope everyone enjoys Bailey's completely normal Pokémon adventure!

What is this?

You already know the story because everyone in your life is living it: I am broke and disabled. My local support networks have been financially gutted. My friends are exhausted, and they only have so much to give. I've had to decline help that I otherwise need because I refuse to let my friendships become financial -- even then, they don't have much else left to give, and neither do I.

Things are a little more bearable for me right now than they were the past few months. Everyone helped a lot with Dunkin's surgery, which we're at 47% coverage on. I've been sleeping OK at night. That's why I've decided to return to selling my art online. But my carpal tunnel syndrome has been worsening over the years, and I don't know if art will always be in my future.

You know what I can always do? Write about video games. But writing about video games doesn't get me money.

Ok. What is Greg

GregTech: New Horizons is the name of a notoriously time-consuming Minecraft modpack. I'm giving myself a month to see how far I can get in it. I'm also playing some other incremental games.

The "Greg" in GregTech is for the mod's creator, Gregorius Techneticies. His parents must have had big plans for him! But "Greg" has become shorthand for the mod itself, and the idea of this mythical Greg figure has evolved long past the man himself. (I will never again use "Greg" in this thread to refer to the mod author; I don't want this mistaken for RPF.) So I thought Greg would be a funny name for a character playing GregTech. I decided the character would be one of my Computer Mouse characters because I thought it fit the Thaumcraft goggles. Then I named the thread "Mr. Gregorium's Number Emporium" as a reference to the film Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. His tail is a Reddit upvote and a mouse cursor.

I'm going through my bookmarks. I have some really, really weird shit in my bookmarks and this is just one of them.

This is a MtG deck that purports to be the best rat-themed deck. It was made by Tapped Out user chuck137 14 years ago.

I wish I could write an article about this but I just don't know enough to make it interesting. I have only played MtG maybe once or twice and I barely understood it, so this is beyond me. What I do know is that it has 4 Drainpipe Vermins, which is a really good and well-drawn rat card, and it has 23 Swamps, which is an awful lot of swamps to have.

I just thought it might be interesting to more serious Magic fans since it reflects a specific time period. I would love to know if better rats have been added, or if there are things here that would be funny for reasons I don't know.

This is a successor to my briefly-lived Liminal Industries thread. With that one I was testing the waters a bit. I ended up feeling too self-conscious to really commit, and I only had the idea to make the thread during the last chapter anyway, so it didn't really get the time or room to go anywhere. (If you were around for my first thread, uh... give me a bit to get this off the ground, OK, it won't just be a rehash of the first one I swear.)

Liminal Industries is a Minecraft modpack by Appocryptha about developing automation in the backrooms. It might be my favorite Minecraft modpack!

Liminal Industries - Oil Expansion is a fork by Ivy_Pancakes that fleshes the modpack out, most notably with a whole extra chapter for oil production. I actually was rather disappointed by how little oil mattered in the original modpack so I have high hopes for this.

I'm playing with cheats on and I've also added Exposure: Polaroid in order to take these screenshots faster.
