i slept for 3 hours and had an upsettingly lengthy dream where i was cast as the main character of a tv show that featured these tamagotchi-like characters going to school. my character was some kind of sardonic class clown that was liable to being pulled along by bad influences, and everyone considered themselves friends with him even though he didn't like them back. it was kind of a satire of those kids shows where everyone is too nice to each other all the time and treat each other as best friends just because they exist.

i felt like i played through 4 days of a CYOA game that was taking place irl and everyone else clearly had lines memorized but i didnt have a script at all i had to bullshit everything. eventually the dream transformed into a freeform roleplay game set on this forum with light GMing where you explain what you're doing next in the roleplay, kind of like a roll to dodge, but somehow i ended up in the middle of the woods in this roleplay while people were doing their actual story scenes

I forgot my melatonin last night and somehow my dreams were worse than usual.

I had a dream where I watched a short film of a MS Paint-drawn timelapse of a fox carcass being eaten by ants. Once they were done eating it, a couple of stray bone shards grew into fox skulls on human feet bones (a Kirby-type body configuration). A stock sound of children laughing played as they waddled away. In the dream I found this both incredibly moving and upsetting.

a friend got a new pajama set that was like a onesie with a hood, or well more like the neck hole extended to the face so he would look a bit like a teletubby (fig 1: the teletubbies) and it had this bright pastel block coloration it was unmistakably "Pinterest Kidcore" and he took a picture of himself lying on the ground with his hands behind his back like some kind of cocoon (fig 2: the cocoon)  and everyone started photoshopping him into random often extremely violent situations like torture devices and whatnot

My dreams have been very bad recently but the worst it got was 3 dreams in a row about MyZaza, including one where it stepped on the button and the spike trap came down and the player started screaming "STOP. STOP. STOP" and I had to look away while meat sounds played.

I don't want to describe my dream today but it was similarly violent. Can I have some normal dreams please

spotted lanternflies had incredibly painful venomous bites and stings and there were a bunch crawling all over my desk so i had to figure out a way to kill them all as fast as possible with my bare hands

I had a nightmare where I finally got Italian ice from the local Italian ice place but they had put fried onion strings in it for some reason?

Then I had another nightmare where I went to Olive Garden but couldn't find anything on the menu that didn't have an acid reflux trigger

I'm awake now and shoveling snack crackers into my mouth because I must have been fucking hungry to dream twice about wanting food

i hope i can post this on this forum but i had a dream that a male celebrity and a second noticeably older male celebrity had a TV show in the 1990s where they would jerk each other off and for some reason this was obscure buried in wikipedia type trivia

You did end up dragging me to Chicago Disneyworld and my brain immediately lost the plot because I found some sort of furry thrift store and bought 2 yards of a partially-cut-into Starry Night-themed fur for $85

I was trying to put it on my debit card because I've been anxious about my credit card usage recently but I was fishing for my debit card in my wallet and realized Paula still had it from when (irl) I gave it to her to pay for Costco and so (back to the dream) I accidentally pulled out my Jersey Mike's Card and nearly handed it to the cashier and then I pulled it away and said "sorry, I nearly gave you my Jersey Mike's Card" and gave my credit card

WHAT. DOES. IT. MEAN.

It was not a themed debit card. It was not a gift card. It was my Jersey Mike's Card

In trying to remember a lost media for you to pick apart in that sloth inflation thread, I instead ended up having dreams about the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour, which I have not thought about in maybe a decade. This needs to be looked into.
